The Mathur house is on Herringbrook Road in Eastham, a secondary road used to get to almost anyplace on the bay side. Traffic is slow, but constant at times. That road will take you to the turn-off for Kingsbury Beach, a pedestrian-only bay beach less than a half mile away, as well as to the entrance of Wiley Park on Great Pond where there is a playground in addition to the freshwater beach. It will also take you into Orleans “the back way” to shop or dine, and to the Wellfleet Audubon Society and Wellfleet Flea Market. The house has a cathedral ceilinged living room, plus kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms on the first floor. Upstairs is a small sitting area in the landing as well as a split-dormitory bedroom (two sleeping areas with a partial wall, but no connecting door) and a 3/4 bath.
