The Hooton cottage in North Eastham has a lot of rooms; it was once the resident manager’s home and office for a cottage colony that has now been subdivided and sold as individual homes and cottages (not condoed). It has a kitchen, separate dining room, living room, bathroom, and bedroom downstairs, and two bedrooms upstairs. It has cable TV, phone, AC in living room and upstairs bedrooms, and WiFi. It is on a dead end road off Route 6; to get to any beaches, shopping, or dining, one must go out onto the highway. Definitely 1950s with a bit of “gingham dog” decor. Comfortable and very economical.
