The Grant house was built for year-round living. It sits on a flat,
sunny lot on a short dead-end road about a half-mile from Campground
Landing, a popular bay beach in North Eastham. It is a short walk to
The Landing, a little store that sells kites and Cokes, comic books and
candy bars and all the things that childhood memories are made of. It
is also only about a half-mile walk to a bakery where you can start the
day with traditional blueberry muffins or fresh donuts. The house has a
living room/kitchen combination which seems to shrink a little when all
four bedrooms are in full use. There are two bedrooms and a full bath
downstairs, and two nearly dorm-size bedrooms and a lav upstairs.
Satellite TV brings the world to this quiet, private location; the TV
also plays DVDs. |
